The Oil Sight Glass product line consists of the original Esco Oil Sight Glass, the Oil Sight Glass & Level Monitor, the Oil Level Indicator and the 3-D BullsEye. Our products provide lubrication management professionals a complete and immediate visual oil analysis.
The Esco Oil Sight Glass is a clear acrylic cylinder that installs in the drain port of the oil reservoir of pumps, gear boxes, bearing housings and other lubrication-critical pieces of equipment. It provides continuous fluid monitoring of the clarity, color, sediment, and water contamination. The drain valve allows for discharge of accumulated water. Products
To facilitate various equipment configurations, the Esco Oil Sight Glass product line includes several models:
Vertical Oil Sight Glasses
The standard model supports equipment with access to the drain port to either screw directly into bottom of the reservoir or install an elbow in a drain port located on the side of the equipment.
Horizontal Oil Sight Glasses
If there is not adequate clearance, the horizontal model provides the same functionality but has the ports machined eccentrically to allow the fluids to separate and accumulated water to drain.
Oil Sight Glass and Level Monitor (OSGL)
The Esco Oil Sight Glass and Level Monitor provides continuous and instantaneous monitoring of the oil including the level. It comes in standard heights up to 24" and can be customized for special applications.
3-D BullsEye - NEW Product!
The 3-D BullsEye replaces the sight window plug on oil reservoirs. It allows for easier viewing of oil level and clarity.
High Temperature Oil Sight Glasses
In environments with exposure to temperatures exceeding 160°F on a regular basis, the High Temperature Esco Oil Sight Glass provides support up to 450°F.
Large Volume Oil Sight Glasses
High volume vertical models of 16 oz. and 32 oz. are used in situations where water contamination is severe or the operators want to observe larger volumes of oil.
Oil Level Indicator (OLI)
The Oil Level Indicator (OLI) is used to visually inspect oil condition and level in tanks, gearboxes and reservoirs.
Oil Sight Glass Options
Magnet Drain Valve OptionMagnet Drain Valve Option. The strong pull from this rare earth magnet will attract and hold microscopic ferrous particles. Further analysis of these particles can help determine what component is failing for replacement. The Magnet Drain Valve is easily interchanged with the standard drain valve on any Esco Oil Sight Glass Product.
